The Rose Garden Afternoon Micro-School nurtures children as khulafāʾ on this earth, entrusted with hearts to love and hands to serve. This program is a journey of growing in love for Allah and His Messenger ﷺ, while developing the confidence and skills needed to serve creation, inshaAllah.Fridays, the most blessed day of the week when our salawaat are heard by the Beloved ﷺ, are devoted to cultivating love for the Prophet ﷺ. Through readings of the Seerah and Shamā’il, creative expression, the acting out of a Seerah play, and reflective practices, children learn to admire his life and character, and to let that love shape their own.Saturdays focus on stewardship and leadership in action. Children take part in hands-on projects such as caring for the farm, designing new spaces, and running a farm-to-table community café. These activities help them practice teamwork, problem-solving, and service.Across both days, students engage with design thinking, real-world challenges, and visible thinking routines to cultivate creativity, responsibility, and a mindset of service. The result is a learning experience that unites heart, hands, and mind, preparing them to live as capable and compassionate mini-khulafāʾ, inshaAllah.
