At the Rose Garden, this afternoon Khalifa Micro-School nurtures children as khulafāʾ upon the earth, entrusted with hearts to love and hands to serve. Afternoons on the Farm

Ages: 5-12

Mon & Wed - 3:30pm - 5:30pm

After a long school day, children need a space to unwind, recharge, and grow. Afternoons on the Farm is a two-hour afterschool program where kids enjoy a snack, complete homework in a peaceful setting with Qur’an and qasā’id playing, and join salah together.

They then step into the farm feeding animals, exploring the garden, adding fresh herbs or fruit to their snack, or listening to sīrah stories. Some afternoons invite creativity through recyclable projects and building simple farm solutions; other times, children immerse in mindful play, crafts, or singing qasā’id.

This balance of structure and freedom nurtures responsibility, creativity, and inner peace while grounding children in remembrance of Allah through His creation.

Highlights for your child:

  • Calm space for homework + salah

  • Gentle animal care & garden-to-snack experiences

  • Creative farm-inspired projects & recyclable crafts

  • Seerah stories, qasā’id, and mindful play

  • A sanctuary that reduces stress, builds empathy, and strengthens love of Allah

In love with my Nabi

Ages: 5-12

Fridays 1:00pm - 3:00pm

Fridays are devoted to nurturing love for our Beloved Prophet ﷺ. Children will immerse themselves in the sīrah, shamāʾil, and the inspiring lives of the ṣaḥāba, bringing these stories to life through creative expression—journaling, sewing, knitting, painting, singing, and hand drumming—culminating in a theatrical play by year’s end.

Alongside these sacred studies, students will learn principles of gardening while pouring their love and inspiration into cultivating a meditative Shamāʾil Rose Garden, a living tribute to the beauty of the Prophet ﷺ.

This is where deeply purposeful, interdisciplinary learning takes root, with the eternal seeds of Prophetic love being planted in every child’s heart.

Caretaker like my Prophet

Ages: 5-12

Sunday 1:00pm - 3:00pm

Each Sunday, children are invited to step into the heart of stewardship and sustainability on the farm. Rooted in permaculture and regenerative principles, students will engage in meaningful, hands-on experiences: raising meat chicks into chickens, milking Mama cow, planting a seasonal food forest, collecting eggs, and making nourishing broth. These weekly lessons culminate in preparing and serving the community through a farm-to-table café.

At the core of the program is the honor of khidma (service). Students learn teamwork, collaboration, and problem-solving as they harvest seasonally and contribute to community days.

This deeply purposeful, interdisciplinary learning experience is enriched by the eternal seeds of Prophetic love being planted in their hearts. Through design thinking, real-world challenges, and visible thinking routines, students cultivate creativity, responsibility, and a mindset of service.

The result is a learning journey that unites heart, hands, and mind—preparing them to grow as capable and compassionate mini-khulafāʾ, in shā’ Allāh.
